Steve Jobs once said, "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life." He inspired a generation to Think Different. How has the legacy of Apple's co-founder influenced your life?
Jeez, in so many ways I can't fucking count. My first (good) mp3 player was an ipod nano that my sister still uses. Two years ago, after going through a bunch of non-Apple mp3 players, I was given an ipod Touch as a present, and it totally has become my trusted companion.
And I couldn't have gone through last year of Uni without the ipad.

Also: PIXAR. Let's not forget that the man co-founded it. We would not have WALL-E if he hadn't.

And I've directed my first shortfilm, and participated in other 5 for uni. I am dying with the epic amounts of work at this very moment, but it's for the best so I pass all of my subjects in June, because I have an opportunity for a scholarship and I cannot let that pass.

I started German classes too, and I'm gonna try for an English certificate on September.

And Tuesday next week I'm going to see Confucius, at laaaaaaaaaaast!!!

I hope to update this more frecquently (what with the course reaching its end and all that jazz)

1. Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3. You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

Questions asked by woodshavings

1) one night, you got drunk. you wake up and theres a stranger next to you.who is it (real person wise).

LOL, IDK, maybe one of my friends.

2) you have no socks left except some smelly ones sitting on your radiotor. do you wear them or go without.

Wear them if it's cold or raining. Go without them if it is sunny.

3) you find a massive kingdom under the earth. do you tell someone, or go on your own and keep it your secret place.

I wouldn't tell anyone. Because, if I did, they wouldn't believe me.

4) tits or gtfo

*gtfos quickly :P*

5) jacob is about to molest you with his hands. what do you do?

The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request that I write a drabble/ficlet from the following fandoms: LOST. In return, you have to post this in your journal, regardless of your ability level.

fandom + pairing + song lyric/title

Note: I might not be able to write them before Monday because I have my last exam that day, but, after that, I'll write em all as quickly as I can.

Request at my fic journal

You know the feeling of when a book has got you hooked at first, you stopped in the middle thinking, "WTF? I have better things to do with my life" and then you returned because something made you remember how much you loved it?

That pretty much sums up my relationship with LOST during these years.

I remember the first time I watched it. It was a Sunday afternoon, I was ill and my dad told, "hey, why don'y you watch that new show at TVE, LOST, and tell me later about it?". And so I did.

Got me completely hooked. And kinda in love with Boone(though he was at bit silly at first, and I was totally shocked when he died.), and OHMAIGOSH, liking Jack and despising Sawyer. (Thank Jacob this changed afterwards, though not my hate of Kate. I hated her since the beginning)

And so, I followed. First at TVE, and when I got tired of them changing the series in their timetables, I switched to FOX.

There, I stayed faithful until the end of season three. But don't ask why, I began to loose interest in the show. Until the last year, when I caught the series again on cuatro.

It was love at first second sight. And this time, my mom and my sisters became fans, so my younger sister bought the four first seasons on dvd and began to watch them again. I joined them when they started season four and managed to get them season five by dishonest meanings. *whistles innocently*

And even though they are not liking season six so far, I do. Even though Cuatro has behaved quite badly with it and I saw myself "forcedtogetitbydishonestmeanings".

And even though I will not be able to see the finale live tomorrow (But two hours later, so it isn't that bad).

I have to say to the creators of this show: THANK YOU GUYS.

Obviously the possibilities of them reading this are zero, but I do not mind.

Thank you guys for everything: The WTF moments, the characters I've grown to love and hate, the story, the plotholes that make for awesome fanfiction, the relationships (even the love triangle of DOOM), the deaths, the flashbacks, flashforwards, flashsideways, the stories that were and the stories that couldn't be,  the anxiety between episodes, and the look of happiness in my face every Tuesday, thinking "LOST!", that one of the most awesome characters was actually Spanish like me (it's silly, but I loved it)....

I obviously forget many other things, but you know, thanks for them too.

(Btw, I am preparing a fanmix. IDK if I will be able to post it today, tomorrow, or even in this week, because I have exams, but, in the meanwhile, have two of the tracks)Music to jear you to sleepCollapse )

And just because I always wanted to end a post with this:

"See you in another life, brotha."
